The LG 50 pint dehumidifier will remove up to 50 pints of moisture from your space in a 24 hour period. It features a built-in drain pump and can even be controlled via WiFi with the LG SmartThinQ App. The WiFi capabilities include starting and stopping your dehumidifier, the ability to monitor the bucket capacity as well as receive notifications all from your phone. This black dehumidifier is packed with other standard features including touch pad buttons with LED display, auto re-start, automatic humidistat control, 2 fan speeds, a washable air filter and a removable bucket. The bucket is easily removed from the side of the unit for emptying and re-loading back into the unit. Additionally, it can be hooked up and used with the continuous drain option. This option requires a 3/4″ diameter garden hose and a drain! Direct drainage does not require bucket emptying. It is an Energy Star appliance and also includes a bucket full light and a safety standby light. After 23 hours of continuous operation, the safety standby light goes on and the compressor and fan shut down. After an hour, the light will go off and the compressor and fan will restart – assuming the bucket is not full. It will also shut off if the 13.3 pint bucket is full.
